Brantford, Ontario

Detailing, PPF & Tint for Brantford Drivers

The Short Answer

One Highway Between Brantford and Our Studio

From Brantford, Highway 403 runs east to Ancaster, where our studio fits paint protection film, applies ceramic coating, tints windows, wraps vehicles and details them inside and out. We book weekday appointments only. Call or email first, then bring the car in and leave it with us.

Brantford, the Telephone City, is its own city on the Grand River, surrounded by but separate from Brant County. The 403 has been its direct link to Hamilton since the Brantford-to-Ancaster section was finished in 1997.

What We Do

Built Around a 403 Commute

01

Paint Protection Film

The 403 is posted at 110 km/h for most of its length, and front-end film takes the stones that speed brings.

What the Brantford Commute Does to a Car

Highway 403 east

Through the city, the 403 passes under Highway 24 and the Wayne Gretzky Parkway, then leaves at Garden Avenue and heads for Ancaster between Jerseyville Road and former Highway 2. Most of that run is open farmland, with the speed limit at 110 km/h apart from a 100 km/h stretch in Brantford.

City streets in winter

The City of Brantford plows and salts in priority order: Red Routes, the arterials, first, then Blue Routes for collectors and Green Routes for residential streets. Its November 27, 2025 notice says arterial plowing starts at 5 cm and is typically done within 6 hours after a storm ends, residential streets within about 16, and that crews apply anti-icing to high-priority routes ahead of storms.

Provincial highway work

Once you join the 403 you are on a provincial highway, patrolled by the OPP and maintained by the province. Ontario's highway crews can spray anti-icing liquid before a storm and spread pre-wetted salt, which is salt with that liquid applied so it sticks. Both leave a film along the lower doors.

Brantford FAQ

Common Questions

How do I plan a visit from Brantford?

Book a weekday time, drive the car over on the 403 and leave it with us. We call when it is ready. If you need transport while it is here, ask about a replacement rental.

Can you protect a truck or SUV?

Yes. Film, coating and tint go on trucks and SUVs as well as cars. A larger vehicle takes more material and more time, and that shows up in the quote.

Is the 403 hard on paint in winter?

Any highway is. Salt spray at 110 km/h reaches every panel below the windows, and slush packs into the wheel wells. Regular rinsing and a coating make it easier to manage. See winter washing for coated cars.
